Fantastic stopmotion and real YouTube HD

Just found this stopmotion mobile phone un-boxing video which is pretty cool. Really good human stop motion simulation… I wonder how he did it. It is also the first time I have notice real HD in YouTube. Notice that you now can choose between several HD sizes and it goes up to 1080P. Go check it out.

My Corporeal Half

I found this video while searching for good corporate presentation videos. It has nothing to do with the corporate world, it is actually looks more like a school project. I did however surprise me with some smart editing and a clever storyline that falls through a bit in the end but starts up really well. Check it out here:

Vans X Brooks

Another collaboration combining fashion and bikes surfaces. A set of Vans Syndicates in to match your new Brooks saddle. Dunno what to say? But both products looks really good individually.

Polaroid instant film cameras re-launch soon

It has now a while since a group of people decided to take over and blow new life in to Polaroid’s otherwise closed instant film department. Recently Lady Gaga was appointed Creative Director for them ???? and the first camera will look like this and use the Polaroid 1000 film.

I really want it!

Lasse Pedersen gets a hug from FWA

Today the site I have designed for hair and makeup guru Lasse Pedersen won a FWA SOTD award. The site is made together with Felix Nielsen aka Flexmotion who made the stunning implementation.

The site showcases Lasse’s work and features photos from the best photographers in Denmark. It’s focus is all about showing this content in the best possible way, and establishing it’s own identity.

This is the seventh FWA SOTD i have designed.

Now you have a perfect weekend like I intend to!

The Third & The Seventh – Fantastic 3D

This has bounced around the interwebs today and it really deserves the attention it gets. This guy Alex Roman must really have some skills and an insane amount of time to pull off a video like this. You can see it in small above, but it deserves a full screen experience from Vimeo. See it here

Desert boots meets Chukkas

Opening Ceremony – Desert boot

In the wake of the everlasting sneaker fetish that all self-respecting young men has gone through and are probably still stuck in, comes kind of a new breed in the form of a bastard child from fine suede suit-shoes and sneakers. It is not really a new phenomenon, more an evolution that has happened over the last many years. This particular bastard comes in the form of a mid sized boot that you can find in tons of shapes but for most parts has a short lace and uses leathers combined with different forms of rubbers.

From the sneaker side comes Vans with the Chukka boot that they have had for decades and from the high fashion side comes Opening Ceremony with their classic take on the boot.

I have tried to collect a small selection here with the most current offerings with both good and bad examples.
